For Deemed Universities not maintained by UGC / State Universities
1. Recognizing the fact that the utilization of building and infrastructure grants is severely hampered due to the cumbersome process for obtaining prior approval, it has been decided to simplify the process. Henceforth, such proposals in the revised format given in the Annexure with necessary certification from the University Engineer / Vice Chancellor and Registrar as required are to be sent to the UGC for approval.
2. The procedure shall come into immediate effect. To the extent given above, the Guidelines for Development Grants to the Universities and Colleges stand revised.
