University Grants Commission's 417^th meeting

Sir,

This has reference to the recommendations of the University vide its letter No. 5026/204/79/CDC dated 20-08-2001 and simultaneous concurrence given by the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide its letter No.11627UE.1.22001-02 dated 07.11.2001, I am pleased to inform that Commission at its meeting held on 13th April, 2004, considered the reports of the Expert Committee which visited three Colleges of Osmania University from 27th January to 30th January, 2004. Based on the recommendations of the Expert Committee, the Commission AGREED to grant autonomous status to the following Colleges for the period mentioned against each as under:

The Osmania University may now go ahead and issue necessary order in this regard by endorsing a copy of the same to this office for our records. It may please be also noted that UGC shall reimburse only actual admissible expenditure, within the overall ceiling provided for in the guidelines, incurred by the college during the period for which approval to the grant of autonomy is now being conveyed. The admissible grant under the scheme will be released to the College by the Joint Secretary, Southern Regional Office, UGC, PB. No.152, A.P.S.F.C. Building, 4th Floor, 5-9-194, Chirag ali Lane, Hyderabad-500 001 (A.P.).
