Award of scholarship for PG academic session (2006-08)

Dear Student,

Based on the advice of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the Commission initiated two schemes i.e. (i) Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child and (ii) PG Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders from the academic session 2005-06.

After scrutinizing the applications, received from the students, who have taken admission in first year PG Course during the academic year 2006-07 under the schemes (i) Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child (1005 awardees list enclosed) and (ii) PG Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders (121 awardees list enclosed) for the PG academic session 2006-08 have been recommended for award in the respective schemes based on the recommendations of the Committee constituted by the Commission.

A separate award letter and other information will be issued to individual awardee shortly.

Important Note:

For award of Scholarship under the above two schemes for the PG academic session 2007-09 is under process.
