Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in supersession to this office letter No. F.3-1/2002 dated 16th January, 2003 regarding withdrawal of increments from the teachers who have been appointed after availing the exemption from NET on account of having a Ph.D Degree. The above circular shall be kept in abeyance until further orders. Consequently, the universities may continue to give increments to the above category of teachers till they hear a word on it from the University Grants Commission.

This may also be brought to the colleges affiliated to your University.
