Location Details: The university is located at Pachpedi area of the Jabalpur situated on the banks of the holy river Narmada in the heart of India.

Recognition: The University has been accredited with a B++ grade(with institutional score between 80 – 85%; five star) by NAAC.

Other Details: The campous is spread over 99.63 acres with 23 teaching departments and 112 affiliated colleges, 121 academic programmes out of which 17 are self finance courses. The teaching departments in the University have excelled in their fields to get recognized at national and international levels by various prestigious organisations such as UGC, European Commission etc. Department of Physics has been recognized by the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy as institute under Federal arrangement programme.
