Location Details: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Capital of India.

Recognition: It is a State University, established by Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The UGC has identified this university as having potential to attract foreign students.

Other Details: The University in its pursuit for excellence at all levels of professional education has maintained very high standards in its schools of studies and affiliated institutions in terms of teaching, research, faculty, infrastructure and other related determinants of quality.

Infrastructure Facilities: A system of comprehensive examination and evaluation based on a combination of continuous assessment and end of term examination, has been adopted to inculcate in the students the habit of regular and systematic study.

The university, in order to meet its objectives, has established schools in various disciplines such as Information Technology, Bio-technology, Chemical Technology, Management, Law and Legal Studies. The University is setting up independent campuses of the University with ultra modern facilities in West Delhi and East Delhi.
