Location Details: The University is located at warangal in Andhra Pradesh.

Recognition: Awarded B+ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). International Quality Assurance Cell has been created that continuously monitors the development/ improvement of academic and administrative activities. UGC had identified the University for promotion of Indian Higher Education Aboard (PIHEAD) programme. The University College of Pharmaceutical Science is internationally known and recognized as one of the best institutional in India. Chemistry, Botany, Economics and Commerce & Business Management Department are recognized as Centre with potential of good academic and research activity and funded by UGC & DST.

Other Details: Established in 1976 in the economically and educationally demanding Northern Telangana districts of Andhra Pradesh, has gained considerable recognition as Centre of Excellence in Higher Education.

Infrastructure Facilities: The University has state of the art equipment in Science department and Central Instrumentations Centre. Four departments are receiving funds from the UGC under DRS/SAP programs and the DST is funding three departments under FIST programme. In addition to this the faculty are receiving grants for their research programmes from the UGC, DST, DBT, DRDO, AICTE, CSIR, ICHR, ICSSR, Volks Wagen Foundation, Germany, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Ministry of Human Resource Development – Govt. of India, etc.

Other ameneties: Library with a very good collection of text books and reference books is being funded by the UGC through INFLIBNET and INFONET, E-journals are made available to the faculty, scholars and students. Computational facilities are available in all department, Good play field with Indoor Stadium and Gymnastic Centre, DEQSTIC (Distance Education Quality Staff Training Institute), Students Welfare Centre, Centre for Women’s Studies Music & Literary Club, Social Studies Forum, Telangana Development Centre, Central Instrumental Centre and Hostel for PG Students – Boys and Girls, Yoga Centre.

Co-curricular Activities: Sports, National Services Schemes (NSS), University Students Festivals, Job-oriented Training Programmes, etc.

Student Support Services: Health Centre, Canteen, Guest House, Reprography, Indoor Games, Remedial Courses, Placement – Orientation Programmes, Refresher Courses, Programmes for Foreign Students, Cultural Festivals, Quiz Programmes, Industrial/ Educational Tours, Centre for Consultation and Extension Activities, etc.
