Location Details: The University is located in Hyderabad, a capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

Recognition: The University has been awarded the highest rating of five stars by the National Assessment and accreditation Council (NAAC) of India in recognition of its outstanding achievements and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

Other Details: Established in 1918, Osmania is one of the oldest and largest institution of higher learning in India. It offers a wide variety of courses consistent with the requirement of times through 52 departments.

The University attracts a large number of foreign students every year. Over 800 foreign students every year, from some 27 countries are currently on rolls studying in different colleges and university departments spread over various faculties. Realizing the importance of catering to the needs of the foreign students, the university, in December 1999, established a University foreign Relation’s office (UFRO). The UFRO provides International Students with all information pertaining to academic and other services available in the university and serves as a coordinating agency between the University and the foreign students.

Co curriculur Activities: It arranges country side visits and cultural interaction programs for the benefit of foreign students.

Student Support Services: It offers a number of student support services such as arranging remedial instruction in English, helping in getting accommodation, providing counseling and guidance etc.
