Location Details: University is based at pantnagar, Distt. Udham Singh Nagar, Uttranchal.

Recognition: The Govind Ballabh University of Agriculture & Technology was established in 1960 by an act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh, enacted in 1958. Due to its outstanding contribution, University has been recognized a premier institution in India and Abroad and has been honored with Best Institution Award 1997 by the India Council of Agricultural Research.

Other Details: The University ensures individual attention to each and every student through its advisory system. The teacher advisor guides, supervises and monitors the academic performance of his advises besides helping them in their personal problems. Advisor also maintains a close with parents/guardians of the student.

Infrastructure Facilities: The University has internationally acceptable infrastructure for teaching, research & extension. University has three centers for advance studies in the Departments of Agricultural Communication, Argonomy and Plant Pathology besides nearly 300 research projects funded by ICAR and other National & International agencies viz UPDASP, UADASP, NRI (UK), SWISS Development Corporation, IRRI and CIMMYT etc.

Other Ameneties: All Hostels are well equipped with telephone, color TV, Common room, Library, Visitors room, Indoor Games, Courts for Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Badminton. Modern classrooms with A-V aid facilities, laboratories with sophisticated equipments in each college. Department of Student welfare, which provides ample scope, opportunities and facilities for all round development of the students.

Co-curricular Activities: Organize Literary, Cultural, Social, Film, Hobbies, Aerobic, NCC, NSS activities at university level through 11 professional societies, besides hostels and college level activities. Participation of students in National and International level the sports & Games activities are organized through 17 games & sports club. The university provides sufficient games & Sports material to all the hostels as well as university level teams.

Student Support Services: Well equipped Sports Stadium, Canteen, Indoor Games, Remedial Courses etc.

Programs Offered: Master’s and Ph.D programs in various courses.

Fee Structure: $4000 per year for all the courses.
