1. The University is a recognized University by the UGC.

2. The University is a recognized University by the ICAR as s SAU.

3. The University is recognized from the Veterinary Council of India under the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 for the degree of B.V. Sc. & A.H. provided by the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, located at Bikaner.

Other Ameneties: The University serves teaching, research and extension requirements of arid and semi-arid region and all the teaching campuses are true representatives of these areas. Another Agricultural College and a Home Science College are Situated at Bikaner providing UG, PG, and Doctoral progammes in may disciplines. Institute of Agri-business Management established in the year 2000 is welll equipped with all the modern Infrastructural facilities.

Infrastructure Facilities : The University at present has 5 academic institutions. Most of the academic institutions have well developed college libraries, computer center, student development, staff residential quarters, transport facilities, bank, post office, medical facilities, boys/ girls hostels play grounds, etc. Placement cells at college and university level, have facilitated students to opt for better opportunities of higher studies and job availability at national and international level.

Other Amenities : The University has a Landscape Cell, Placement Cell, Directorate of Students Welfare, NCC, NSS units in each college, open Air Function Ground with about 2000 capacity, Green House and well equipped Labs.

Co curriculur Activities: The university’s constituent colleges pursue the following co-curricular activities regularly: Social Services, Animal welfare fortnight, Relief Camps, Dog Show Cultural , Games & Sports activities, NCC and NSS.
