| Technology Description: |
The wood polymer composite was prepared from thermosets and thermoplastics with agro waste. A compatibilizing agent was added to enhance the mechanical properties and water resistance. No complicated processing is required. In water-soluble polymers development, to avoid seeping in heat exchangers low molecular weight polymers were synthesized. Their application from 20 - 100 ppm was studied and it was observed that 100-ppm shows best properties for cold and hot water for longer time. The wood polymer composites have application in construction industry and water-soluble composites in chemical industries. |
