NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed quotations are invited from the reputed firms for the purchase of 140 KVA Silent D.G. Set for NET Building of the University Grants Commission located at South Campus of Delhi University, Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi-110021.

The quotations should be accompanied with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) for each quotation in the form of Bank Draft in favour of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The tender should be superscribed as “Quotation for purchase of 140 KVA Silent D.G. Set”.

The successful tenderer will require to furnish Security Deposit @ 6% of the estimated value/Rs.50,000/- whichever is higher. The earnest money will be adjusted against Security Deposit. The same will be refunded without any interest after installation, commissioning and proper functioning of the Silent DG Set.

Any attempt at negotiation direct or indirect on the part of a tenderer with the authority to whom he has submitted the tender or the authority who is competent finally to accept it after he has submitted his tender or any endeavour to secure any interest for an actual or prospective tenderer or to influence by any means the acceptance of a particular tender will render the tender liable to exclusion from consideration.

The terms and conditions alongwith other information can be had from the UGC office on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.30 P.M.

Sealed quotations addressed to Mr. R.C. Kandera, Under Secretary (Admn.II), University Grants Commission, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002 should reach the UGC office in Room No.205 within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the newspaper i.e. 11-06-2005.

The Secretary, University Grants Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any tender offer without assigning any reason thereof.
