Technology Description: Diarylbutane lignins are cyclized using Thallium tris perchlorate to obtain the corresponding eight-membrane lignin. Bisbenzocyclooctadiene lignin is known for their anti-cancer activity. The application area is semi-synthesis of anti-cancer compounds in pharmaceuticals.
